Five years of wonderfully weird Florida

For five years, FloridaRAMA has celebrated the state spirit through immersive art and artists who transform the wonderfully weird details of Florida into experiences visitors can step inside. On Saturday, November 14, 2026, it marks that anniversary with FloridaRAMA Fest, a celebration of expansion with art, creativity, makers, food, and all things delightfully Florida.

The festival runs from 10 AM to 5 PM at FloridaRAMA, 2606 Fairfield Ave S, St. Petersburg, and across The Factory St. Pete campus. Tickets cost 15 dollars per person, with children 10 and under admitted free. A VIP party on Friday, November 13, from 6 PM to 9 PM costs 35 dollars per person and includes early festival access, participation in the FloridaRAMA Artists Reunion, and 2 drinks.

The museum is going on the road

The festival marks more than an anniversary. It unveils FloridaRAMA new Mobile Mini Museum, housed inside a retro trailer, which will take its tiny worlds and big ideas on the road to communities across Florida. The festival is supported by an Arts Everywhere grant, helping make the community focused celebration and the Mobile Mini Museum possible.

That traveling idea matters for a place built on miniature worlds. A museum that can arrive in a new town does not have to wait for visitors to find St. Petersburg. It can carry FloridaRAMA strange, detailed, handmade Florida to people who have never walked through its doors, and invite them back to the full experience.

What is happening across the campus

The festival extends across The Factory St. Pete property with a FloridaRAMA Art Fair featuring more than 30 local artists and makers exhibiting and selling work just in time for the holiday season. A curated makers market offers vintage Florida finds, records, plants, retro clothing, books, collectibles, and curiosities.

A community diorama contest and diorama and trinket trade installations invite artists and members of the public to create miniature Florida inspired scenes celebrating humor, imagination, and storytelling. Family activities invite visitors of all ages to make art and build miniature worlds, while mobile vendors serve food, coffee, ice cream, and other local favorites. The Mobile Mini Museum offers a first look inside the renovated trailer and a preview of where the traveling museum heads next.

Why this festival fits Florida creators

FloridaRAMA Fest is a useful example for anyone who builds events in Florida. It does not rely on one attraction. It layers an art fair, a market, a contest, hands on activities, food, and a launch announcement into a single day, so different visitors find different reasons to come and different reasons to stay.

It also gives attendees something to make, trade, and take home, not just something to watch. For photographers, videographers, and event organizers, that is the part worth studying. An event that invites participation photographs better, because the audience becomes part of the scene instead of standing outside it.

Plan your visit

If you go, plan for a full campus day rather than a quick stop. The art fair and makers market alone cover holiday shopping, the diorama contest rewards a slow walk, and the Mobile Mini Museum is the one first look you cannot get another day.

Arrive early for the 10 AM opening if you want the makers market at its fullest, and stay for the live music and food vendors as the afternoon fills in. FloridaRAMA Fest is a celebration of five years, and a preview of where its tiny worlds travel next.
