ChatGPT Builds Apps Now: What Creators Should Do With GPT 6's Intelligent UI
ChatGPT now builds interactive calculators, charts, and mini apps right inside the conversation. Here is what creators and founders should actually do with it.

What actually changed

OpenAI's newest model, GPT 6, is rolling out inside ChatGPT to its 1.2 billion weekly users, and the headline feature is called Intelligent UI. Ask it to plan a Sunday roast and you no longer get a wall of text. You get a small working app with a guest counter that rewrites the shopping list every time the headcount changes.
The shift is bigger than it sounds. Chat is becoming a place where the answer is a tool, not a paragraph. Calculators, charts, interactive planners, all generated on the spot, all usable right there in the conversation.

Three ideas for creators and founders

Here is where my mind went immediately, and I run a creative services business:
Think about the last time a potential client asked about your pricing over DM. Now imagine answering with a working calculator instead of a rate card screenshot.
- A quote calculator for your services. A prospect picks the package, the add ons, the timeline, and sees the price build in real time. Clear copy, clear CTA, clear price. That is my rule for promo creative, and this format delivers it.
- An interactive brand intake. Instead of sending a client a 20 question form, send them an app that walks through the questions, previews their brand colors as they answer, and outputs a clean brief you can both approve.
- A project tracker for clients. Feed it your production timeline and it becomes a visual checklist the client can open on their phone. Fewer check in calls, more trust.
The catch, and the real takeaway
The catch is the same one I say about every new AI feature: the tool is free, the judgment is not. A calculator with confusing labels is worse than no calculator. The creators who win with this will be the ones who obsess over the copy inside the app, not just the fact that it exists.
The real takeaway is the direction of travel. AI is moving from generating content to generating interfaces. If your business still answers questions with paragraphs when it could answer with tools, you are about to look slow. Start with one calculator, one workflow, one interactive answer. Ship it, watch how people use it, then build the next one.
Want help turning your offer into something interactive? My landing page service is 400 dollars, and this is exactly the kind of thinking that goes into it: clear wording, clear CTA, clear price.
