Give the song a clear direction

Start with the feeling you want the video to create. Send the final track, lyrics and two or three references, explaining what you like about their color, movement or energy. Say early if the mix or arrangement is still changing.

Choose a concept that fits the artist and the production. You do not need a complicated story or a finished treatment to begin.

Plan the shoot before the shoot.

Confirm location access, filming rules, parking and any costs before booking. Share recent photos and a venue contact. For outdoor filming, discuss weather and a backup.

Rehearse the track, prepare the agreed outfits and name the moments you cannot miss. Choose one person to gather feedback so the edit receives a clear set of notes.

Know the package and send your brief

Jamaal’s filmed Music Videos package is a flat $650. It includes creative direction, a shoot plan, one edited and color graded music video, an HD delivery file and two revision rounds.

Editing typically takes 1 to 2 days after the shoot and receipt of the final track and agreed assets. Allow up to 2 weeks when busy. Share your deadline and extra production needs, then explore the portfolio and send your idea. Filmed videos are separate from AI reels.
