Claude Builds the Presentation Now: Motion, Dashboards, and the Adobe Handoff

Claude can now turn your live numbers into a dashboard and your report into an editable animated explainer, then hand it to Adobe for a pro finish. Here is why that changes client work.

From answer to finished work

Anthropic launched two beta tools this week that move Claude past answering questions. Claude Dashboards connects to company data in systems like Salesforce and Snowflake and builds charts that update as the numbers change. Ask why sales dropped and Claude can build a live view of the answer instead of describing it.

Claude Motion does the creative half. It turns a report, a chart, or an idea into a short animation, and it generates code instead of AI video footage. Every word, every number, and every transition stays editable. Anyone who has regenerated a whole video to fix one typo knows why that matters.

Claude Docs, Slides, and Design are also out of beta now and available on all plans, including Free. Dashboards is in beta on paid plans, and Motion is in beta on Team and Enterprise.

The Adobe handoff is the real story for creators

Start in Motion, finish in a pro editor. The handoff is the workflow.

Here is the part filmmakers and editors should notice. Click Send to Adobe and a Motion animation opens directly in Firefly Video Editor, where you can rearrange clips, adjust pacing, color, and audio, add real footage, or generate new clips. Adobe also has a Claude plugin with more than 80 creative and productivity tools across Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, and Adobe Express.

That workflow matches how good creative work has always been made. Start fast with AI, then bring in pro tools when you need precision. The model drafts, you direct. Recognition first: Anthropic and Adobe are respecting the craft here by keeping the work editable instead of locking you into whatever the model spit out.

  • Turn a client report into an animated explainer, fix the wording yourself, then polish it in Adobe before it ships.
  • Build a sponsor or event recap that updates from live numbers, so the recap you show a partner is never stale.
  • Prototype an ad concept in Motion in the morning and finish the real cut in Premiere the same day.

Ask for a decision, not a chart

Simple bright checklist for building a decision dashboard, with the decision written at the top
Write the decision first. The right chart builds itself from there.

The Neuron shared a skill worth stealing word for word in spirit. A dashboard is only useful when it helps you decide something, otherwise you just made a prettier spreadsheet. Start with the decision, name your data sources, and ask Claude to show the definition behind each metric, the query that produced it, and what could make the result misleading.

My take for founders and creators is simple. Pretty charts are easy. Trustworthy ones your client can actually use are the benchmark. If the numbers cannot be checked and the animation cannot be corrected without starting over, it is not finished work yet. Used right, this stack saves the boring hours and puts your judgment exactly where it belongs, on the final call.
